This is an exam conducted for students finishing key stage 4 (grade 9, 10). All the admin and technical work such as preparing exam papers, marking, and preparing results are done by this department. It is normally conducted in October / November Exam Session.

GCE ‘O’ Level is considered equivalent to Secondary School Certificate (SSC) subject to meeting the requirement of Scheme of Studies as under: i) Pakistan Based Examinations: Eight subjects including Compulsory English, Mathematics, Urdu, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies and three electives.

Cambridge O’Level examinations for May/June 2021 have commenced in the Maldives. Ministry of Education revealed the O’Level examinations are participated by 5,955 students across the country, including 2,196 students from schools in the Greater Male Region and 3,759 students from schools in the atolls.
