Secondary students work towards Cambridge O-Level examinations with growing leadership opportunities and skills learning.

Cambridge O-Level at secondary; school assessments follow the National Curriculum.

The O-Level pathway

  • Grades 7–8: National Curriculum key stage, building toward O-Level subject choices
  • Grades 9–10: Cambridge O-Level courses with mock examinations each term
  • Practical work in the science and computer labs
  • Islam, Dhivehi and Quran continue in their own languages

A record to live up to

The school's first O-Level batch sat their exams in 2022 — all eight students earned A* or A in every subject. Since then, secondary students have represented the Maldives at COP27 and fielded Team Maldives at the FIRST Global Challenge robotics olympiad.

There is currently no A-Level programme; the school runs to Grade 10.
